On a beautiful day at Scar Reservoir, the Cane Corso Breed Club UK (CCBC UK) hosted its very first Cane Corso meet-up, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The event brought together like-minded Corso enthusiasts and their magnificent dogs for a day of camaraderie, stunning scenery, and plenty of tail-wagging fun.

The meet-up began with a 4.5-mile walk around the breathtaking Scar and Angram Reservoirs. The route offered outstanding views of the surrounding countryside, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable adventure. The dogs were impeccably behaved, showcasing the grace, strength, and gentle nature that make the Cane Corso such a beloved breed.

Good friends of the club, Cath and her boy Tito, were also in attendance, along with Steve and Conan, who is the brother to Chris’s Borgs girl, Hildi. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and their beloved Corsos enjoying the day together.
We were thrilled to have Ali join us with three of the rescues—Honey, Eden, and Smoke. All three were impeccably behaved, with Honey being kindly walked by David and Leah from Pure K9. It was heartwarming to see these beautiful dogs enjoying their day out with the group.

After the walk, everyone gathered for a well-deserved homemade soup and a roll, followed by a fantastic spread put on by Chris’ mum. Her cakes, as always, were NEXT LEVEL and the perfect way to end a perfect day.

As the first official meet-up hosted by the CCBC UK, this event marked the beginning of what promises to be a thriving community. The success of the day has already sparked excitement for future meet-ups, and we can’t wait to see the club grow and bring even more Corso lovers together.

“had a great day Sunday met some really great people. Was good to see all the dogs.” – Steve and Conan
“Brilliant Day… Such nice dogs, people and location. We will definitely be at the next one” – Richard and Tilly
